1 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LEEDS AND THE THOUSAND ISLANDS BY-LAW NUMBER BEING A GENERAL PURPOSE BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH GENERAL FEES AND RATES FOR VARIOUS SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE MUNICIPALITY. WHEREAS Sections 150(6), (7) Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 permits a municipality to pass by-laws fo r licensing, regulating and governing any business carried on within the municipality. WHEREAS Section 391 (1), Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25, permits a municipality to impose fees and charges for services and activities provided. WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to establish a schedule of fees and charges for certain municipal services; and NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LEEDS AND THE THOUSAND ISLANDS: 1. THAT the fees and charges for various municipal services be established as shown in the schedules attached hereto and outlined in the list following, plus all applicable federal and provincial taxes. THAT the fee schedules of the By-Law may be changed from time to time, as deemed desirable, by resolution of Council. 3. THAT the fees included in this by-law supersede any fees included in any other by-law passed by The Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands. 4. THAT By-laws #07-013, #07-062, # and # are hereby repealed.

7 SCHEDULE "D-1" TO BY-LAW NUMBER TARIFF FOR FEES FOR APPLICATIONS FOR MINOR VARIANCE 1) FEES for applications made pursuant to Section 45(1), 45(2) and 45(3) of the Planning Act, RS.O shall be $1, per application. SCHEDULE "D-2" TO BY-LAW NUMBER TARIFF OF FEES FOR OFFICIAL PLAN AND ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENTS 1) FEES for applications made pursuant to Section 21 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, shall be $1, per application.. 2) FEES for applications made pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act RS.O. 1990, shall be $1, per application. 3) Notwithstanding the foregoing, where concurrent applications for the same lands are made pursuant to Section 21 and 34 of the Planning Act, fees payable for such concurrent application shall be $2, ) Where an appeal is received by the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands against any By-law effecting the applications noted in clauses 1 and 2 above, an additional fee of $ shall be paid to the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands prior to the appeal being forwarded to the Ontario Municipal Board. In addition, the applicant shall be responsible for 75% of all Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands costs relative to an y Ontario Municipal Board hearing with respect to the application(s). The said $ fee shall be credited to the applicant when all costs are calculated. 5) Fees for applications made pursuant to Section 36 of the Planning Act RS.O for the removal of a Holding-Symbol shall be payable in the amount of $ per application. 6) Fees for copies of Official Plan and Zoning By-laws shall be $30.00 per document. SCHEDULE "D-3" TO BY-LAW NUMBER TARIFF OF FEES FOR PROCESSING, SUBDIVISION, CONDOMINIUM AND SERVICING AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS. FOR the processing of Agreements pursuant to the Planning Act RS.O and Servicing and Development Agreements a fee of $ shall be payable to the Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands. SCHEDULE "D-4" TO BY-LAW NUMBER TARIFF OF FEES FOR SITE PLAN CONTROL SUBMISSIONS Site Plan Submission - all other: Site Plan Control Amendments $ $ When the Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has. entered into a Site Plan Control Agreement with a person and that Agreement has lapsed, a fee of $ shall be payable to the Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands for any new application for the same project or the reactivating of the original Agreement.

Forfeit of Deposit Deposits will be retained when a cancellation of a facility rental is not done within 72 hours of the scheduled booking or if the facility needs repairs or cleaning.
