2 SUBJECT: RFP #R15084, Architectural/Engineering Services for Miscellaneous Projects, renewal RECOMMENDATION: That the Loudoun County School Board renews RFP #R15084, Architectural/Engineering Services for Miscellaneous Projects, with Architecture, Incorporated; Hord Coplan Macht; Moseley Architects; MTFA; Samaha Associates; and Stantec Architecture through April 30, SUMMARY: In May 2015, the School Board awarded contracts to Architecture, Incorporated; Hord Coplan Macht; Moseley Architects; MTFA; Samaha Associates; and Stantec Architecture, for architectural/engineering services for miscellaneous school construction projects. Projects include additions and alterations to existing buildings, and renewals of existing school facilities in accordance with approved educational specifications and building codes. The project assignments also include feasibility studies, systems evaluation in terms of energy and environmental sustainability, and costs analysis. The RFP allowed for multiple awards of up to six offerors, with the option to extend for four additional one year terms. This is the second renewal for these contracts. Projects are distributed among these firms in accordance with procedures described in RFP #R Staff and the six awarded firms have agreed to renew their contracts with no increase in hourly rates through April 30, This renewal will be considered by the Finance and Facilities Committee at its meeting prior to the Board meeting.
