4 Date: 20th february 2018 Structure: SHARE INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING FORUM acts as an effective platform where the architecture community comes together to share ideas and inspiration, learn and celebrate excellence in architecture. SHARE events bring together principals and senior architects from leading practices to discuss and gain inspiration from each other. SHARE Tirana 2018 is a one day event with a complex schedule, including two official plenary sessions Organizers: Share Tirana International Forum is co-organized with 3 major national associations of architects: The Albanian Architects Association, The Association of Architects of Macedonia, The Architects Association of Kosovo and in partnership with de Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria. Speakers: Architects from 10 countries present their international and awarded projects: Albania, Bulgaria, Italy, Belgium, Romania, Iran, Macedonia, Kosovo, The Netherlands and United Kingdom. Attendees: 250 architects, engineers, landscape architects, contractors, investors, developers, representatives of the academia and of the professional associations Thematics: The lectures are focused on present and future, innovation in architecture and engineering, on the exploration of new materials and technologies for designing a smart and sustainable built environment.

Xander studied at Delft University of Technology from 1999 to 2004 and graduated with Honours. After working with one of the leading architecture offices in Amsterdam, he established XVW architectuur in 2010 in order to independently address a new agenda for architecture emerging in the ongoing economic crisis. In the collective housing projects collaboration with the future inhabitants is a key aspect of the development process.

He got his master in architecture at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia (IUAV) in Venice, with professors like Aldo Rossi, Bernardo Secchi, and Manfredo Tafuri. Keynote Speaker Giuseppe FARRIS Founder, Studio Farris Belgium In 2001 he moved to Belgium, where he collaborated with several different architectural offices. In the year 2008 he founded Studio Farris Architects in Antwerp. In 2013 Studio Farris Architects is selected for the redevelopment of the Zoo of Antwerp (B), and for designing the headquarter of the Persgroep in Brussels (B).

Her work has been recognized and awarded and has widely been reviewed by the local and international media. Her artistic exploration goes beyond architecture and she is making her mark in conceptual art and design. Her realizations reveal a meticulous and continuous research about the new possibilities of using contemporary artistic approach and techniques in a local context. She established her design office in 2000 after winning first prize in a design competition for restoring historical buildings in Iran.

16 Arch. Marta GRZADZIEL BAROZZI/VEIGA, Spain, the Winner of Mies van der Rohe Award 2015 I am very glad to have been at the SHARE conference. It was a great experience, I participated in the lectures and some debates which were before my lecture here and it was a very rich experience. I have spoken about the Philharmonic Hall of Sczecin, the first building in Poland winning the Mies van der Rohe Award. I am Polish, but all my professional experience comes from abroad and this project was a very unique possibility of coming back to Poland with the experience I had abroad. Arch. The event has allowed me to meet new people and has offered me the opportunity to meet people that I normally wouldn t have had the chance to meet and network with, this is what I think it is really important. In Los Angeles we have a really rare opportunity to do this and as it is so far away, allowing me to come to this was absolutely extraordinary, this is something I wouldn t have been able to do without the organization of PRO Event Association, with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest. I found the event to be fantastic and since my return to Los Angeles I have been telling everybody about it and I really recommend to other architects from the United States of America to participate in the future events you will be organizing.
