In Remembrance of Family of Lamplighters Dr. Rahul Nath Devan April 13, 1955 ~ July 30, Brother of Raman Dewan Dr. Rahul Nath Dewan, 63, of Harness Lane, died at 10:45 p.m. July 30,, at Columbus Regional Hospital, in Columbus, Indiana.

While in the Army, he also served at Walter Reed Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Center, as well as the National Institutes of Health, all in Maryland. Dr.

Dewan was an oncologist at Columbus Regional Hospital for 20 years, where he was able to bring joy and laughter to his patients even in difficult times, touching the lives of many people.

2 In Remembrance of Family of Lamplighters Dr. Rahul Nath Devan April 13, 1955 ~ July 30, Brother of Raman Dewan Dr. Rahul Nath Dewan, 63, of Harness Lane, died at 10:45 p.m. July 30,, at Columbus Regional Hospital, in Columbus, Indiana. Dr. Dewan was born April 13, 1955, in New Delhi, India, the son of Rajinder and Binodni Sharma Dewan. He married Susan Anthony May 21, He was a colonel in the U.S. Army, serving during the Gulf War. While in the Army, he also served at Walter Reed Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Center, as well as the National Institutes of Health, all in Maryland. Dr. Dewan was transferred to Madigan Army Medical Center, in Washington, where he was head of the oncology department. Recently, Dr. Dewan was an oncologist at Columbus Regional Hospital for 20 years, where he was able to bring joy and laughter to his patients even in difficult times, touching the lives of many people. He was also a member of Community Church of Columbus where he served as a small group leader. Dr. Dewan enjoyed many other activities, being a jack-of-all-trades, including electronics, plumbing, cars and having certification as a locksmith. Survivors include his wife, Susan; sons, Rex Dewan of Louisville and Robert Nathan Dewan of Jeju, South Korea; brothers, Ravinder (Pam) Dewan of California, and Rakesh (Linda) Dewan and Raman (Becky) Dewan, both of Austin, Texas, and his sisters, Manjula (Bill) Gray and Anjula (Ed) Littleton, both of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ryan Dewan. Myrtle Robinson Brown January 22, 1921 ~ August 4, Sister of Les Griffin & Sister-in-Law to Bonnie Gage Myrtle Robinson Brown passed away peacefully at her home on August 4, at the age of 97. She was preceded in death (Feb of ) by her husband John H Brown, Jr. They were married just short of 78 years. She was also preceded in death by her son Richard Brown at age 29. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Brown Remmert, favorite son-in-law Charlie Remmert, and sister Les Robinson Griffin. Also surviving are grandchildren Matt Collins (Ange), Stephen (Inez) Remmert, and Susan Remmert. Great grand children Dillon (Rebecca), Celena and Sophia Remmert, John, James, Suzy and Wesley Collins. Great Great Grandchild Lukas Remmert. Sisters in law Bonnie Gage and Martha Kyser and many nieces nephews and friends.

John really Rocked the Stage!
