That s why we created this handy brand book for all our valued partners to reference. Within it you will find guidelines for the correct use of all of our brands identities and visual assets, including our trademarks, logos, and content. INTRODUCTION ABOUT NORTH AMERICAN BANCARD Headquartered in Troy, MI, North American Bancard is a multi-faceted payment solutions provider dedicated to providing the latest technology as well as committing to the highest service levels. As a registered ISO since 1992, North American Bancard provides its clients with a full suite of products and services including credit, debit, EBT, check conversion and guarantee, ATM, gift and loyalty cards, and online payment gateway solutions. BEING A PARTNER COMBINING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES When referencing North American Bancard elements to show that you are selling a product or service of NAB, you must be explicit in imagery and content to indicate you are a Sales Partner representing North American Bancard. There are instances where you ll want to advertise more than one North American Bancard product or service as part of your sales pitch. Here is a brief description of each of the products that you can sell under the NAB family of brands. Remember, although you can sell these each under NAB, proper brand elements must be used when referencing one of the below in relation to NAB. For more in-depth guidelines for each brand, please reach out to your Account Specialist or the North American Bancard Marketing team. For those high-risk or hard to place merchants. BEING A PARTNER ADVERTISING Predesigned marketing materials are available to Sales Partners on Agent Info Center. If you intend to create your own materials, you must obtain approval by contacting your Account Specialist or directly contacting the North American Bancard Marketing team. As a Sales Partner, you are granted limited use of the North American Bancard Brand Elements. North American Bancard and your Account Specialist may provide input on how to alter your materials so that they conform to the brand standards. You are required to follow these guidelines so that we can continue to deliver a clear and consistent message to our consumers. MIRRORED WEBSITE You may not use domain names similar to the North American Bancard name or it s associate brands and products, use metatags, or purchase key terms on search engines that may be similar to the Mark. SALES SLICK Use of the sales slick requires you to properly identify yourself as a Sales Partner of North American Bancard. POSTCARD Use of the postcard requires you to properly identify yourself as a Sales Partner of North American Bancard. BROCHURE Use of the brochure requires you to properly identify yourself as a Sales Partner of North American Bancard. 05

BEING A PARTNER CREATING MATERIALS When creating your own marketing materials, please make sure that the North American Bancard logo is free from clutter. Use only approved images through the Agent Info Center portal or those provided by the North American Bancard Marketing team. Do not use or modify any images that are pulled from our site, videos or other marketing materials. USING OUR TRADEMARK To maintain the integrity and strength of the North American Bancard mark ( Mark ), we do not allow you to integrate our mark with your company name, website, or marketing materials. The North American Bancard mark is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Content and graphics described in these guidelines are for use only by authorized partners and third parties with the explicit permission of North American Bancard. North American Bancard reserves the right to withdraw permission to use North American Bancard marks if the use is deemed inappropriate or inconsistent to these guidelines. Publisher will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless North American Bancard from any and all third party claims resulting or arising from Publisher s acts or omissions. Keep in mind that NAB includes a variety of products and services. If you are combining products and services within a single material, use NAB brand elements. 06

BEING A PARTNER RULES OF THUMB DO Clarify which products and services you are selling. For example, if you are creating your own site, create separate pages for Capital for Merchants and PayAnywhere Storefront. Monitor the comments on your social pages. If a merchant has an issue or question you are unable to answer, direct them to the official brand social pages for the correct customer service contacts. Be factual and honest when creating marketing materials. Sell Phone Swipe if you would like to offer a mobile solution with pay-as-you-go or custom pricing. PayAnywhere Mobile does not include custom pricing. DO NOT Edit, modify, or recreate brand elements, such as logos, approved images, and proper language. Use domain names similar to the North American Bancard name or it s associate brands and products, use metatags, or purchase key terms on search engines that may be similar to our Marks. Represent yourself as official on social media outlets. Do make it clear you are an independent Sales Partner representing NAB and its family of products. Make false claims about NAB or your competitors in marketing materials. Send marketing materials and websites you create on your own to your Account Specialist for approval. 07

BEING A PARTNER DISCLAIMERS When using any of the North American Bancard Brand Elements you must include the appropriate disclaimers: 2018 North American Bancard, LLC. All rights reserved. North American Bancard, LLC is a registered ISO of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Concord, CA., The Bancorp Bank, Philadelphia, PA, and BMO Harris N.A., Chicago, IL. If you are running a sales promotion of any kind please contact your Account Specialist or the NAB Marketing team for approval on your disclaimer. 08

BRAND ELEMENTS OUR LOGO The black and blue North American Bancard is the standard for all general use in print and on the web. When placed over images or solid backgrounds, a full reversed white logo should be substituted. DO: MINIMUM SIZE The minimum size the North American Bancard logo can be printed is 1 x 0.22. DO NOT: X X X MINIMUM CLEAR SPACE Please allow at least 0.375 on any side of the logo for padding. 09

BRAND ELEMENTS OUR COLORS While there are many color combinations, please use only NAB-approved colors. BRAND ELEMENTS OUR FONTS North American Bancard uses variations of the Lato, Roboto and Nexa fonts in its marketing materials, and communications. HEADLINES Headlines on North American Bancard materials are in all capital letters and in black. Using North American Bancard blue is not the proper representation. When a headline is over a screened image or a solid color, switch the type color to white. Using North American Bancard blue is not proper representation. The minimum size of body copy for print is 9pt. When using bold for emphasis, change the bold type color to black. BRAND ELEMENTS TONE When talking about NAB and its family of products and services, make sure to follow the simple guidelines below. PROFESSIONAL Be respectful to customers as well as North American Bancard and its products. HONEST Tell the truth and set proper expectations. It s important customers know exactly what to expect from you and North American Bancard. KNOWLEDGEABLE Go in prepared and ready to answer questions. If you need to, reach out to your Account Specialist or sign up for a training session through Agent Info Center prior to contacting potential merchants. CONFIDENT We have great products and services that we are excited to share with our merchants. Be comfortable and confident when you are talking about us! DO NOT: Lie, deceive or spin the truth Come off as arrogant Edit, modify or recreate brand elements 12

BRAND ELEMENTS LANGUAGE USE Proper language is important. When using content to reference NAB and its products and services, please use the following approved copy blocks.
