Overnght n Rzeszów. Day 7: July 27, Thursday: On our way to Zakopane, we stop to shop at the Costume Factory (buy on the spot or get made to measure wth shpment home). Once we arrve n the mountans we partake n an evenng of folklore wth the mountaneers n a tradtonal Góral Restaurant wth lve entertanment. Overnght n Zakopane. Day 8: July 28, Frday: Raftng down the Dunajec Rver on the border wth Slovaka wth our Mountan gudes followed by a tour of ths beautful regon n the Tatra Mountans wth stunnng vews, wldlfe and abundance of storks. Day 9: July 29, Saturday: We vst the Auschwtz-Brkenau Museum n Oœwêcm n the mornng and then contnue north to the Jasna Góra Monastery where we wll see Poland s holest of shrnes The Black Madonna n Czêstochowa. Sunday: Sandy Beaches, Swmmng, Water sports, A move under the stars on the longest boardwalk on the Baltc Sea, Tea n the Grand Hotel n Sopot - Overnght n Gdañsk. Day 11: July 31, Monday: Tour of Gdañsk, Westerplatte, the shpyards and the Soldarty movement. An evenng of perog makng and eatng, followed by Folk Dancng. About Rchard Schmdt: About Rchard Schmdt: In the year 2001, Rchard Schmdt receved the Lfetme Achevement Award from the Polsh government for hs dedcaton n promotng Polsh culture abroad. To ths day he s stll gong strong as the Artstc Drector and founder of the Whte Eagle Folk Dance Academy n hs hometown of Montréal, Canada and Artstc Drector for The Lechowa Polsh Folk Dance Company of Toronto, the largest Polsh ensemble n Canada. Hs nstructonal workshops and choreography have been complmented by decades of studes under several of Poland's masters. He has work wth folk ensembles n Europe, Asa and North Amerca snce the age of seventeen and s also well-known on the Internatonal Folk Scene as the Master of Polsh Dance wth standng nvtatons n the Unted States, Japan, Hong Kong and Chna.
