These websites have the highest percentage of rich visitors By SALLY FRENCH SOCIAL MEDIA EDITOR, MARKETWATCH.COM The site you re reading right now yes, we re talking about MarketWatch has among the highest percentage of wealthy readers among all the websites on the internet. That s according to data tracking site Priceonomics s analysis of the top 500 websites in the U.S. (at least 8 million views a month). Priceonomics ranked the sites by demographics to reveal the websites with the most female, male, millennial, senior, parent, educated and wealthy audiences (defined as having a household income greater than $150,000). MarketWatch comes in No. 11 on the wealthy list, with 19.3% of its readers making more than $150,000. The website with the most disproportionately wealthy visitors is The Real Deal, a website about New York, Los Angeles and Miami real estate news, with 27.2% of its readers making more than $150,000. The Real Deal is followed by startup database Crunchbase and DC Urban Mom, a blog and forum for Washington, D.C. parents (where, incidentally, the question of what defines rich seems to come up fairly often).
