Danielle Shaw and Thomas Bloch have more than 10 years combined international experience within the design industry, working with major design firms throughout Sydney, Brisbane, London and Germany, prior to establishing the labhaus. danielle shaw Danielle completed her Interior Design studies at the highly regarded Sydney Design Centre in Enmore, with honours. Prior to Danielle s Interior Design studies, she ran her own Graphic Design Business for several years, which provides experience for client presentations, enabling clients to visualise their spaces and branding for her Interior Design projects. Since completing her studies Danielle has worked for well appointed design firms throughout Sydney and Brisbane. Danielle s passion comprises of a sophisticated and balanced approach to colour, texture and form. She is captivated by product design and its ever evolving nature. thomas bloch Thomas studied Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz, Germany. To gain further knowledge on different design approaches he spent one semester in an Architectural course at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. During his studies he tutored at his University and presented classes in Projective Geometry. Furthermore, he started work at an architectural office where he later became Partner. A strong focus on environmental sustainable design led to award winning single residential projects to low energy and passive house standards. Since moving to Australia in 2005, Thomas has worked for well known architectural practices in Sydney and Brisbane as Project Architect on award winning projects varying from high end single residential to large scale commercial. Thomas is a self taught architectural photograher. His clients include many top tier architectural design firms. Thomas work has been published in many of the prestige design magazines in Australia.
