The idea for completely customisable boats marries the interests of its two founders perfectly. Stefan Hübbe, a boat engineer, tied his nautical construction knowledge to the brilliance of Lars Voigt, who runs a highly successful design studio on Berlin s Kurfürstendamm. The customised design aspect is a huge bonus of buying a Rev House. All interiors are made according to the owner s taste, and for example a sauna or solar panels can be added on. Fixtures and fittings are 100% custom, though the engineering and architecture remains essentially the same from boat to boat. The standard size is for a two-storey boat, though whole floating villages can also be created. With increasingly stressful working life becoming the norm, lifestyle has become more important than square footage or the number of bedrooms, notes Lars. Now, people look for the best views, proximity to open spaces, and being beside the water is possibly the most relaxing of all. The most expensive real estate is always by rivers, lakes and oceans, so this is a great opportunity to be connected to the city while living on the water. The large roof terrace maximises those lifestyle benefits. The boats may be suitable for full-time living, but they are also true boats, allowing the owner to navigate quickly down the river. Specially customised boats are even capable of travelling out on the open sea. With a European licence, this is entirely possible as it allows the boat to travel all over the continent. They are robust, too. Despite constantly being in water, each boat has a 20 year warranty, so it s guaranteed not to deteriorate. Every boat is a one-of-a-kind piece, custom made to fit your needs, equipped with cutting edge technology and designed with attention to detail. Optional solar panels, filtered drinking water systems and a sewage treatment system allow you to experience ultimate independence off the grid. Our standard dimensions are 6,25m x 14,9m, and include a 90+ sqm outdoor deck as well as a 60 sqm basement. Where can I enjoy my Rev House? Rev House is fully motorized and manoeuvrable, offering you limitless lifestyle choices in locations all over the world. Within Europe, our boats are generally licensed and permitted as sport boats, so they can be moored in most of the regular marinas. As a floating penthouse it is also very well suited to add living space to your waterfront home, for example as a guesthouse or home office. It holds numerous possibilities for commercial use or for hotel/ resorts. You can use a Rev House for waterfront living where building on land is difficult due to a lack of infrastructure or not permitted due to flood zones or other restriction.

A few examples: Structure: An 8mm mono hull steel structure that makes Rev House rock solid and enables design on the top that is not at constant risk of bending or cracking. It allows for a large capacity of people (up to 75 for events) and other heavy loads such as special furniture or pianos. You can even drive through 5mm ice in winter. Heating: Energy efficient floor heating imbedded in the hardwood floors, that keeps you comfortable even on cold and rainy winter days. Compared to an average 1-week lifespan for propane powered heating system often found on houseboats, our 2000 litre tank holds generally enough fuel to keep you warm for an entire year. Design freedom: The construction and overall concept for Rev House was developed to give you as little limit as possible to customize the boats to your lifestyle. Customized Luxury Each Rev House is truly one-of-a-kind. Our architects and interior designers work closely with you in order to create your very own perfect lifestyle solution. We offer a wide range of customizable features, including fireplaces, underwater lighting, hot tubs and saunas. Feel at home with an individual floor plan, walk-in closets and every creature comfort your heart desires. The only limit is your imagination. If you need more space and enjoy living on the water without needing to drive, we also offer a 2-story version without the mobility package. If you need a boat that can be in waters with higher waves, we can do that, too. Sustainability: Rev Houses surpass the German energy efficiency building standard, are well insulated and built with the planet in mind. With our optional solar panels and water filtration systems you can live off the grid. The engine itself is powered by energy efficient diesel fuel. Water Storage: Rev Houses have a 1000 litre tank as standard, more than five times of the 180 litre tanks often found in other houseboats. Space: Among houseboats that are fully operational with a sports boat permit, Rev Houses are some of the largest available on the market. Each Floating Penthouse is individually designed. These plans are for a layout with a first floor, featuring both accommodation and a terrace. The one storey boat is the standard version. The optional two storey boat is not standard and that version is stationary and does not drive with a sport engine.
