NOTES ON THE INVENTORY FORM You will find the inventory form on the following pages. Please note the following points: Before using this form, you should read carefully the article Creating an Inventory which you will find on the Landlord-Law site. You only need to put the property address in once in the box on the first page. It will then automatically copy onto the address fields on the other pages There are individual fields in the boxes on the second page (which is the main page and which is the one which will be re-used the most to create the bulk of the inventory), so you can read the items across the columns easily. However on the final two pages, the columns just have one long field in them. If there is more than one item here you will have to space it out so the reader will know which description matches (for example) which set of keys. If you do not have space on the last two pages to list all the keys or other items, type in the field at the bottom (which goes across all the columns) Continued in page A (or B, or C) and carry on a separate sheet. The blue clear data button at the top of the first page will clear the fields on all of the pages, so be sure and not to use this unless you intend to clear the whole form. The blue clear data button on the second page will clear just the data on that page (apart from the address box) so you can use this when re-using this page to complete the main part of your inventory. Make sure you print the page out before you click it! You must print out all the pages before closing the document as the information in the fields will not save (unless you have the Adobe Acrobat software installed on your machine). The Inventory form is followed by a sample form showing how the form should be used. A section for contents of only part of one room are shown in this sample. You will find some additional information about using pdf documents in the Techie Help section on the Landlord-Law site.
