CORE COURSES CI 101: FINANCIAL ANALYSIS FOR COMMERCIAL Want to learn financial analysis concepts and tools so you can make smart investment decisions? In CI 101, you ll use CCIM s Real Estate Cash Flow Model to perform a before-and-after tax financial analysis of a real estate investment. You will learn to apply this model to determine Investment Value, which is unique to each investor. The number one take-away from CI 101 is to give the students information that they can use in the course of their regular business. Maybe it s an idea, concept, calculation, form or term something, anything that they can use to make them a better real estate practitioner. Alec J. Pacella, CCIM Instructor, Senior Vice President of NAI Daus in Cleveland CI 102: MARKET ANALYSIS FOR COMMERCIAL Want to make more informed real estate decisions? In CI 102, you ll learn how to apply CCIM s Strategic Analysis Model to test market, location/site, legal/ political, and financial feasibility for a proposed development or existing property acquisition. This strategic analysis process is taught using case-study formats featuring residential, retail, industrial, and office property types. In all CCIM courses, we focus not only on the mechanics of commercial real estate investment, but also the concepts underlying the mechanics. Jeff Engelstad, Ph.D., CCIM Instructor, Clinical Professor at Burns School of Real Estate & Construction Management at the University of Denver in Denver Still need a reason to sign up for CCIM s course curriculum? Many of the country s top corporations including Walmart, Walgreens, and FedEx encourage their executives involved in real estate transactions to attend CCIM s education courses to ensure they make well-informed real estate decisions. The number one goal of CCIM courses is simple: To give you the knowledge and tools needed to structure and close successful transactions and in turn, increase your personal income. CI 103: USER DECISION ANALYSIS FOR Do you know how to evaluate and compare lease proposals from a user s perspective? In CI 103, you will learn to apply the tools needed to help users of real estate determine lowest cost of occupancy for acquiring space. Case-study applications include comparative lease analysis, lease versus purchase analysis, and sale-leaseback analysis. Excel spreadsheets are used for all activities and case studies to facilitate the analysis. I credit my first million-dollar transaction to a concept I learned in CI 103, which saved an otherwise dead deal. Suzanne Scott, CCIM, Owner of South Texas CRE in New Braunfels, Texas
