GUEST SPEAKER. YEP Anna Bieder : My Year in Australia. At first, it was with trepidation that she commenced her exchange year here in Australia. Being young and slightly immature, she didn t know exactly what to expect. She really didn t expect her year to be soooo great. She has stayed with three host families, and learnt something different from each of them. Anna has made so many friends at the St Thomas More College. The College is different from the schooling at home in Germany. Her most adventurous time of her life was the Roundabout Tour of Australia. Travelled the countryside of Australia. Held a Koala Slept under the stars while camping out Visited the amazing Uluru. Learnt to throw a boomerang. Travelled with other Exchange students from all over the world. Made friends for life. She always looked forward to our Club meetings. Anna thanked our Club for hosting her and making her feel so welcome. PP Tony Collins gave a vote of thanks to Anna, and presented her with a Youth Exchange Certificate PP Wendy Howitt presented her with an Alumni Badge of Rotary Youth Exchange to be worn with pride, always. The gift on the right was given to Anna, by the Richardsons.
