On Monday, June 10, our group wll meet n hotel lobby at 6:00 p.m. for orentaton and welcome dnner. Walkng tour of Kraków. Vst Ethnographc Museum. Excurson to the Welczka Salt Mne, a 3-mle underground walk through chambers, caves, and chapels adorned wth statues sculptured from salt. Evenng folk dancng! Overnghts at The Galaxy Hotel. Day 4-5: Thursday-Frday, June 13: Drve to Zakopane wth ts specal archtecture and storks. Many fne shops. Raft rde along a wndng rver wth a local mountaneer raftsman dressed n full regala! Meet and dance wth the locals. Overnghts: Belvedere Hotel. Day 6: Frday, June 14: Depart Zakopane and head for odÿ. Stop at Auschwtz. Then vst the plgrmage ste of Czestochowa to see the Black Madonna, Poland's holest con. Overnghts: Grand LodŸ.
Day 7: Saturday, June 15: odÿ: Great place for folk shoppng, festvals, folklore, and folk groups. Jon the festval, see a show, and have our own folk dance sesson. Day 8: Sunday, June 16: Depart odÿ for Toruñ, the charmng medeval town, home of the great astronomer Coperncus. Cty sghtseeng of Toruñ. Overnght: Mercure Hellos. Day 9-10: Monday-Tuesday, June 17-18: Depart Toruñ for Gdañsk, Gdyna, and Sopot. Ports, Shps, Beaches, Boardwalk. Relax at the seasde. The seaport of Gdyna; Sopot wth Old World grand hotels, and beaches; Gdañsk, a former Hanseatc port cty wth Gothc churches, romantc cobblestone alleys and harbor promenades. Hear the world-famous organ n Olwa Cathedral. Folk dancng. Overnghts: Hotel Posejdon Day 11: Wednesday, June 19: Day trp to famous Malbork Castle, former seat of Teutonc Knghts. Hs nstructonal workshops and semnars have been complmented by fve decades of studes under many of Poland's top dance specalsts.
