One of the oldest and most respected design forums in India, the 361 Design Conference is an initiative by Indian Architect & Builder to inspire a truly relevant discussion on architecture. RETROSPECTIVE The Speakers, The Partners, The Associations These presentations also opened up some critical thinking within me, making me wonder what are we all doing as a profession? I wondered if, we as a profession, are not focused on beach houses and second homes, and neat little tourist sites, or are we facing the avalanche of urbanisation straight on. 2010 The intention for the 361 Conference 2010: Design and Informal City was to veer the debate on questions of physical form and explore the possibilities of alternate spatial imagination to integrate, in physical form (urban form and typology).
