For Harlem Heights Watershed Study Joseph D. Jaco, P.E. Staff has negotiated a fee not to exceed $491, with Woolpert, Inc. Funding for this project has been identified as SD ORIGINAL BUDGET: $575, BUSINESS PROGRAM: CLEAN WATER 2020?: Mentor Protege Program No The Agreement is requested for Woolpert, Inc. and includes project management/public coordination, field survey and data gathering, hydraulic study, alternative analysis and preliminary design, development of preliminary and final construction drawings, rights-of-way/easement documentation, project permitting, utility coordination and geotechnical services. Woolpert, Inc. formally mentors Chao & Associates, Inc., a MBE firm with headquarters located in Columbia, SC. Chao will provide field survey and data collection services in the amount of $34, (7.0% of the contract value). Additional subconsultants utilized will include: 4D Engineering, a WBE firm with headquarters located in Lexington, SC, will provide engineering design services in the amount of $122, (25.0% of the contract value); P.J. Noble & Associates, a WBE firm with headquarters located in Columbia, SC, will provide public involvement and meeting facilitation services in the amount of $47, (9.6% of the contract value); and Schnabel Engineering, with headquarters located in Glen Allen, VA and a local office in West Columbia, SC, will provide geotechnical services in the amount of $16, (3.4% of the contract value). This project will impact City Council District 1. The Legal Department has reviewed and approved the Agreement and the Assistant City Manager for Operations and Director of Utilities & Engineering recommends approval. At the discretion of the City of Columbia, such assignment shall be made and become effective at the time the purchasing agency tenders final payment to the respondent. The respondent's final response as accepted by the City of Columbia shall mean: the final cost and technical proposals submitted by the awarded respondent and any subsequent revisions to the awarded respondent's cost and technical proposals and the contract tem1s and conditions due to negotiations, written clarifications or changes made in accordance with the provisions of the RFP, and any other terms deemed necessary by the City of Columbia, except that no objection or amendment by the respondent to the RFP requirements or the contract terms and conditions shall be incorporated by reference into the contract unless the City of Columbia has explicitly accepted the respondent's objection or amendment in writing. Additionally, by signing you agree to the above and to all the terms and conditions set forth in this document and if awarded this proposal shall become the final contract.
