The motion passed unanimously. Invocation Brandi Hunter-Lewis gave the invocation. Approval of May 3, 218 Minutes Motion to approve: Fitzgerald, Second: London. The motion passed unanimously. Citizen Time Edward McCormack Mr. McCormack addressed the Board regarding his 217 appeal which was resolved. However, the data issues that were discovered on the property were never corrected in the system. Dwight Robinson stated that he has spoken with Mr. McCormack and will have staff get with him to ensure the data characteristics are corrected. Dwight Robinson stated that there were some technical issues with Remedy Force, and the Information Technology department is working to get it back online. Fulton BOA Meeting Page 2

3 Chief Appraiser Report A copy of the report outline and attachments are included with the minutes of this meeting Assessment Notices Mailed May 22, 218 as planned and posted to the website. 2. Town Hall/Media Outreach There are a few community meetings scheduled in the next couple of weeks. Staff will be present to answer appraisal related questions. 3. Department Newsletter A department newsletter has been implemented to keep staff informed of important issues and events. The newsletter will be published quarterly. 4. Service Legend Michelle Smith who is a supervisor in the Field Book division was recently selected as a Service Legend for providing excellent customer service. 5. Market Modeling Preliminary meetings have been held to begin review of adding a market modeling module to IAS. More information will be provided as this project moves forward. 6. News Articles Recent news articles regarding tax assessments are included in this report. 7. Performance Review Report An analysis and response to the PRB report will be completed over the next few weeks. 8. Analysis of Values of Properties Sold in 215 This analysis has begun but is not yet completed. 9. Dwight Robinson provided the Board with a list of the commercial parcels where the 299C value freeze was removed. Although the two residential structures are vacant, the owner states that they use the pool house club for meetings and bible study. They also utilize the over flow parking, the play ground and the trails. The owner already had special permit granted by the city of Atlanta for a church with accessory childcare and columbarium uses that was adopted for the property prior to the purchase on October 16th, 217. The subject is contiguous to the church campus and the main sanctuary. The property is now integrated into the church campus, and it should be exempt as a place of religious worship.
