TE PARS OF ST. TAMMANY EREBY ORDANS, in regular session convened that: SECTON : The oning classification of the above described property is hereby changed from its present -1 (ndustrial District) to an C-2 (ighway Commercial District). SECTON : The official oning map of the Parish of St. Tammany shall be and is hereby amended to incorporate the oning reclassification specified in Section hereof. REPEAL: All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SEVERABLTY: f any provision of this Ordinance shall be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions herein which can be given effect without the invalid provision and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable. EFFECTVE DATE: This Ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days after adoption. The 225 future land use plan cafis for the site to be developed with commercial uses. Staff does not have any objection to the request as there are some existing commercial uses in the area. Note that the oning change is being requested to allow commercial uses within the existing multi occupancy building. STAFF RECOMMENDATON: The staff recommends that the request for a C-2 (ighway Commercial District) designation be approved.
