NATURE - This category is restricted to natural subjects. Wild animals, flowers, birds etc. The hand of man may not be visible (fences, barns, homes, roads etc). No domestic flowers or animals (hybrid flowers, pets) are permitted. PHOTOJOURNALISM - The story telling qualities in this venue is the most important. Technical qualities still apply, but the purpose of this venue is story telling. PICTORIAL - This category can be most any photograph: Landscapes, People, Pets, Travel, Seascapes, etc. This is a pretty broad area.
