PLAYER INFORMATION History of the Victorian Boys & Girls Championships The Victorian Boys and Girls Championships are Australian Ranking Events.

The format of the Championships were reviewed and are now contested as pinnacle 72-hole junior stroke events without a cut at the famed Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Melbourne's Sandbelt.

2 PLAYER INFORMATION History of the Victorian Boys & Girls Championships The Victorian Boys and Girls Championships are Australian Ranking Events. Originally the tournament was played over 36- holes qualifying, followed by elimination match play until The format of the Championships were reviewed and are now contested as pinnacle 72-hole junior stroke events without a cut at the famed Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Melbourne's Sandbelt. Players are encouraged to bring their own buggy. However, after 36 and 54-holes the draw will be reseeded with the leading players competing in the afternoon field. The draws will be made available on the Golf Victoria website at from approximately 7:30pm on both nights. Registration All players are requested to report to the registration desk 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE TEE TIME of each round to be allocated scorecards, temporary local rules and course map. Championship Dinners (Yarra Yarra GC Clubhouse) All competitors are invited to attend one of the Championship dinners (included in entry fee). Players competing in the afternoon field on the first round will attend the dinner on night, similarly players competing in the afternoon on the second round will attend the dinner on night. Additional guests that have already booked for the dinner will accompany the players on their allocated night. Both dinners will commence at 6pm for a 6:30pm serving. Additional guests are welcome at a cost of $45 per person for a two course meal, registration must be made online prior to the close of entries. Neat casual or golfing attire is suitable for the dinner.

3 PLAYER INFORMATION Lunches Lunch will be provided for all rounds of the tournament. Lunch packs will be made available to players competing in the afternoon field at registration. Morning players may collect their lunch following the conclusion of their round. Please note that all other expenses will be the responsibility of the competitor. Withdrawals Any player wishing to withdraw prior to 20 September must ring GV tournaments on To scratch on the day of play please call the GV mobiles on (Douglas O Keeffe) or (Ben Sweeney). Refunds Any entrant may withdraw and have the entrance fee refunded provided notification is received within three working days prior to the event. Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded after this date unless players can provide Golf Victoria supporting documents regarding their withdrawal from the event (eg. Medical certificate). Dress Regulations All players, caddies, spectators and parents are required to adhere to the Club s dress regulations with particular reference to the following: - Clean dress shoes MUST be worn in the clubhouse at all times. Athletic jogger type shoes are not permitted. Advertising or display materials must not appear on clothing except for brand name logos. All shirts must have a collar. Tailored shorts are permitted. Denim clothing of any description is not permitted. Any player not adhering to the Host Clubs dress regulations will be prohibited from playing. Any caddie or guest not adhering to the Host Clubs dress regulations will be requested to leave the course. Golf Footwear Players are requested to note that soft spikes are mandatory. Presentation All trophies will be presented immediately after the conclusion of the final day s play. It would be appreciated if as many competitors as possible remain for the presentation to honour the respective trophy winners.
