The four events are merged together into a single conference, with a unified program and lectures, and one registration for them all. Dubrovnik, a traditional meeting place for the international cooperation offers an excellent and stimulating environment for the conference of high scientific merit which will attract participants from all over Europe. The venue of the conference, a 5 stars hotel Rixos Libertas, provides excellent facilities for the smooth presentation of the conference's scientific content, as well as for the accompanying exhibition of vacuum equipment and pertinent publications. A world-renowned scientists will present plenary lectures, a number of internationally acknowledged researchers will be invited speakers ( and much more oral and poster contributions will provide insight into the state-of-the-art of science and technology in the fields powerfully affecting the way how we live and produce. 4 CALL FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATION Scientists and engineers working in the fields of vacuum-related research are encouraged to submit the abstract of their contributions. Abstract submission is available on-line and the deadline is 5th of March Abstracts will be evaluated by the Programme Committee and authors will be notified on the acceptance of their abstracts by 5 April Abstracts of the conference will be printed in the BOOK OF ABSTRACTS AND PROGRAMME OF JVC-14/EVC-12/AMDVG-11/CroSloVM-19. Official language of the conference and papers is English. Abstract should not exceed 300 words excluding title, authors and affiliation. Leave margin of 2.5 cm on each side. It should contain the title of paper, author(s), affiliation, postal address, address of the corresponding author, and main text. The title should be written in capitals (14pts) and separated by one blank line from the authors' names (bold in Italic style) and affiliation (that should be in Italic style), with the presenting author's name underlined. One blank line spacing is between the address and the main text. Figures, tables or references should not be included in the abstract. Please note that each registered participant may present only one oral or poster presentation, but he/she can be a co-author in other registered participant's presentation. This 'Pearl of the Adriatic' is situated in the southernmost part of Croatia. During its 450 years of independency the Republic of Dubrovnik had a very strong maritime force of more then 500 ships and was a flourishing trade centre. Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. UNESCO recognized the rich cultural heritage and entered the ancient city into its World's Heritage List. The JVC-14 / EVC-12 / AMDVG-11 / CroSloVM-19 is the biggest event for the vacuum-related research and development in Europe in The venue of the conference is Hotel Rixos Libertas, Dubrovnik. The conference starts on Monday morning and will be closed about noon on Friday. Exhibition stands are to be set up on Sunday. Exhibition The exhibition area is in the centre of the conference, in the foyer in front of the lecture rooms. 2 Exhibition boots are accommodated within the total area of 180m. The two types of standard boot (build up stand) are available: A-type (2m x 3m), and B-type (3m x 3m). A table and chairs as well as 230 V / 50 Hz are included.

PROCEEDINGS The PROCEEDINGS OF JVC-14/EVC-12/AMDVG-11/CroSloVM-19 will be published as a special (but consecutively numbered) issue of the journal VACUUM. Approximately forty papers will be published in the Proceedings issue. There is no page limitation to the contributions and there are no page charges. The submissions to the proceedings will be peer reviewed according to procedure for the regular journal papers. On-line submission via Elsevier's Editorial System (EES) at required.
