3 TABLE 2: CUSTOMIZED REQUIREMENTS The localg.a.p. program owner is allowed to define certain rules specific to the country where the localg.a.p. program will be implemented. The localg.a.p.program owner must indicate where it would define its own rules and give a detailed description of what it required. The localg.a.p. Customization Checklist must be completed by the localg.a.p. program owner before the localg.a.p. program is approved and implemented in the specific country. NOTE: The numbering in this document is in line with the numbering in the localg.a.p. General Rules document. Please read this document in conjunction with the localg.a.p. General Rules. The requirements set in this document are the requirements of the localg.a.p. program owner for the specific localg.a.p. standard. Clause localg.a.p. General Rule localg.a.p. Program Owner Requirement 4. Inspections should preferrably be conducted during harvest. Before the first inspection, a minimum 3 months of farming records (relevant to the specific localg.a.p. CPCC document) are required. CB or Farm Assurer will determine the duration of the inspections. See below. First Inspections: In the situation of alternative timing, due to seasonality of crops, it is important that all applicable control points are inspected for the crop that was not in yet the harvesting period, before a final outcome against the localg.a.p. standard can be determined for that producer. Subsequent inspections: These inspections shall always be as close as possible to harvest, but always during harvest when a new version of the localg.a.p. standard is issued or when a new crop is added to the scope. In the case of produce handling, the packhouse shall be inspected at least every 2 years, or based on risk. Refer to the GLOBALG.A.P. General Regulations Part I, 5.2 and Part II as the same rules will apply. Page: 5 of 8
