Question: Can you please let me know what the correct Room number is for delivery of the proposals? Answer: D Question: Page 3, Section 4 Please provide Bookstore sales by store and by category (i.e. new text, used text, rentals, digital, food, clothing, supplies, gifts, etc.) for the period ending June 30, Answer: See Exhibit A 3. Question: Page 8, Section Who owns the current bookstore fixtures? Is there any unamortized amount that would be owed by a new vendor, and if so, what is that amount? Answer: All Bookstore fixtures are owned by the College. There is no unamortized amount owed. 4. Question: Page 38, Form #3 What is the current Bookstore guaranteed annual and percentage commissions paid to the District? Answer: The annual guarantee is $1,250,000 or the applicable percentage of net sales of the Bookstore, whichever is greater. Percentage of Net Sales is 12.1% of Net Sales up to and including $12,000,000 per Agreement year, plus; 13.1% of Net Sales greater than $12,000,000 per Agreement year. 5. Question: Could you please provide a copy of the most current monthly and annual commission reports specifying the locations of equipment, commissions per machine paid by each vendor for the past three years? Answer: See Exhibit B for Beverage and Snack Vending 6. Question: Please provide the current rate of commission received for snacks and bookstores? Question: What is the current contract term? Answer: For food service: 12/22/20 For bookstores: Annual renewals through 6/29/19 For snack vending: Monthly For beverage vending: Monthly 11. Question: Is the proposed contract term negotiable? Will options to extend be permitted? Answer: The initial term will be either 5 years or 10 years. Options to extend will not go beyond 10 years. 12. Question: Is any preference given to minority or disadvantaged vendors? Answer: No 13. Question: How many machines accept regular debit/credit cards presently? Answer: All 14. Question: Is there presently a surcharge for cashless purchases?
