Profile: Shahla Ghauri has been teaching Graduate and Post Graduate Courses in English and ELT and has been guiding PhD theses and MA level dissertations. Her areas of specialization are Fiction Studies, Postcolonial Studies and Literary Autobiographies. She also has keen interest in Women Writings, Cultural Studies, Indian English Studies, Black American Writing and English Language Teaching. She has attended several national and international seminars and conferences on related topics. Her research papers have been published in journals of repute and also as chapters in books. She has been associated with English Access Microscholarship Programme at AMU under Regional English Language Office (RELO), American Centre. She has been awarded scholarship by RELO to take up an online course on Teaching English to Teens by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, USA.
