Intro to GeoTMS In January 2010, we implemented GeoTMS permitting and licensing system. GeoTMS Modules used by Health Dept: Board of Health Module (BOH) Health Code Enforcement Module (HCE) GeoInspector for PDAs Ruggedized Intermec PDAs with and Bluetooth printers, replaced the traditional paper and pen
Board of Health Module Used to enter complaint, add a business, and issue a permit. Used by inspectors to record commercial inspections such as Restaurants, recreational camps, swimming pools
Health Code Enforcement Module Used to enter complaints, generate noncommercial order letters such as housing, nuisance complaints. Used for code enforcement to record all type of non-commercial inspections.

Food Establishment Inspection Using a PDA Step 1: Signing On Open GeoTMS Select Commercial Permit Tap on Administration

Food Establishment Inspection Step 3: Search for business wanted Enter Search Criteria Normally by DBA, using wild card search Example: ZENNA% Tap on Start Search

Food Establishment Inspection Step 9: Record inspection results Navigate through different categories of the checklist Change Pass to Fail and tap on zoom button to record inspection results

Food Establishment Inspection Step 13: Inspector Sign the report Sign the report and provide a copy to the PIC of the food establishment
Housing Inspection Step 1: Signing On Go to GeoTMS and select Complaint Tap on Administration
Step 2: Signing On Housing Inspection Select your name on the drop down list and enter your PN (1234) then tap OK.
Step 3: Enter Search Criteria Housing Inspection Enter Street No. and Street Name, then select the street name on the drop down list. Tap on Start Search
Step 4: Check for current complaint Housing Inspection Select the complaint and click on Details to ensure that it is the current complaint.
Step 5 cont : Check for current complaint Housing Inspection Look at the Date Received to ensure if it is the current complaint we want. Then tap on Forward To tab
Step 6: Forward To tab Housing Inspection You see the Dept. that has been referred to, you can add new dept to be referred to. Select Board of Health Tap on Details
Step 7: Adding the action taken Housing Inspection Tap on Actions tab to add your action such as Inspection Performed.
Step 8: Create a new inspection Housing Inspection Tap on Inspection tab Select Inspection Type-Health General Housing, Status- Inspection Performed Tap on Done
Step 9: Recording violation result Housing Inspection Tap on Violations tab to enter violations Tap on New to add violation
Step 10: Recording inspection results Select check list Health General Housing Fill in the information for the specific location and area Tap the Zoom button to add notes Housing Inspection
Housing Inspection Step 10 cont : Recording results Select reference code, when done tap on Add Violation
Step 11 cont : Recording results Housing Inspection Continue inspection and add more violations i.e. screen for windows
