In the vicinity of every major ski resort one can find a number of expensive ski homes. For the most part, the best are especially designed, built and furnished for discerning skiers as a true second home, not one they are willing to rent out. Although there are some very nice, and expensive, ski homes available for rent, for the most part they are very similar, and generally have downgraded furnishings in keeping with their vacation rental status.
And then, there is Rubywood!
Located high on a prominent ridge line at an elevation of 10,000 feet, and with views over the Breckenridge Ski Area and the Ten Mile Mountain Range, Rubywood is in a class of its own. Striking and original architecture, fabulous furnishings, and extensive and rare art with a Native American emphasis, Rubywood is simply a one-of-a-kind, a unique residence available for that very special vacation, winter or summer!
