Directions Please see the map for directions in this catalogue. From the A14 turn off at junction 13, at the roundabout follow signs for A605 Peterborough also signed Thrapston & Oundle. At the next roundabout turn for Haldens Parkway Distribution Centre, keep straight on for 1.3 miles and the sale site is on the left. To the Sale signs will be posted on the day. Viewing Viewing can be made on the morning of the sale from 8am, some items will be available to view from Thursday afternoon. Gates close at 6pm VAT VAT will be payable on all applicable lots in addition to the hammer price at the current standard rate payable, unless otherwise stated at the time of auction. Security and Loading of Lots A security check will be made as you leave the sale site. Please be ready to show the sale staff your receipted account. The vendors and auctioneers will not be responsible for the security of items left after 6pm on the sale day. In order to assist buyers, a loading vehicle may be available to help with loading until 6pm on the sale day. Removal of Lots All lots are the responsibility of the purchaser on the fall of the hammer, and must be cleared within 5 days from the date of sale. Unless prior arrangement has been made with the Auctioneers. Registration of Bidders The Auctioneers request all willing purchasers to obtain a buyers number from the sale office prior to the commencement of the sale. The office will be situated on site from Thursday 27 th September. Failure to obtain a buyer s bid number may result in the Auctioneer refusing to accept your bid. If you have traded with Bletsoes in the past and have a permanent bidding number, please use this number. Your number can be found on the envelope of our correspondence that was sent to you. CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. The highest bidder to be the purchaser (but the Auctioneers reserve the right of refusing any bid) and if any dispute arises at the last bid, the Auctioneers may name the purchaser or put the Lot up for sale again at the Auctioneers discretion. The Auctioneers to fix the rate of bidding. 2. All prospective purchasers are to make themselves known to the Auctioneers prior to the time of sale, give their full name, trading name, address and contact details. 3. All prospective purchasers not known to the Auctioneers and who wish to pay by cheque must contact the Auctioneers prior to the sale day to make arrangements and provide two references and a banker s reference. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, bankers draft or a bank card. There will be a charge for payment by bank card as follows: Personal and Business debit card no charge, Personal credit card 2% and Business credit card 2.5%. All purchases to be paid for upon the fall of the hammer and on the day of sale. No purchases over 500 will be released until funds are cleared. Please Note: Cash transactions over 10,000 cannot be accepted according to Government. 4. VAT will be payable on all lots in addition to the hammer price at the current standard rate payable unless otherwise stated. 5. Neither the vendors nor the Auctioneers make any warranty regarding engine hours or vehicle mileages. 6. All descriptions, either written or verbal, are for guidance purposes only. The Auctioneers or Vendors will not be responsible for the accuracy of any such description. All lots are sold with all faults and errors of description. Purchasers must satisfy themselves prior to the sale of a lot, as to the condition of each lot and should exercise and rely on their own judgement as to whether the lot accords with its description. 7. Prospective purchasers should be aware that from time to time lots are withdrawn and other lots added. Please contact the Auctioneers prior to the sale to ensure that any particular item of machinery is included in the sale. 8. It is the purchasers own responsibility to ensure all plant machinery and/or equipment complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 before the purchased items are used in any place of work. 9. The Auctioneer, as agent for the vendor, reserves the right to bid up to the reserve price where set (if any) on all lots. 10. At the fall of the hammer, the Purchaser will take full responsibility for the lot. The lot may not be removed from the sale premises before payment is made in full. All lots must be paid for on the day of the sale. 11. No person will be allowed to remove any lot(s) without the printed pass to do so. Lots must be cleared within 7 days of sale. 12. Failure on behalf of the Purchaser to pay for any Lot (s) will result in a re-sale. Any deficit or costs incurred will be the responsibility of the Original Purchaser. 13. The Vendors and the Auctioneers, as the Vendor's Agent, retain all title in any lots until all purchase monies have been paid in full. Outstanding monies will be charged interest at an interest rate of 4% above the bank base lending rate. 14. In all cases of transfer, the Original Purchaser shall be responsible for purchase money. 15. The Auctioneers will be pleased to take written commission bids prior to the sale.
