Sports Organizing Associations Contracts Review
Sports Contracts Review
Sports Contracts Review
Issues for Discussion Is it necessary for the Associations to be not for profit corporations? Bylaws are subject to review and approval by the county; however, the county has been advised that a corporation has the autonomy to adopt its own bylaws. How do we address this apparent conflict? Financial reporting and financial controls vary considerably. Can we standardize the requirements? How do we insure continuity from one elected volunteer board to the next? Is the Sports Advisory Council working as intended?

District The Interlocal would require the county to accept maintenance for the following private retention ponds: a) Calloway Subdivision b) Haight - Ashbury Subdivision c) Smithfield Estates Subdivision d) Emerald Cove Subdivision In return for the county accepting these retention ponds for maintenance, the District would deed 41.56 acres adjacent to Alligator Lake Park to Columbia County.
