PROCEDURE FOR A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 66421, GOVERNMENT CODE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA The application for Lot Line Adjustment approval must be completely filled out before acceptance for filing. The following information shall be submitted: 1. The completed application form. 2. The completed Owner s Certificate for Lot Line Adjustment. (All signatures must be acknowledged by a Notary Public). 3. One copy of a preliminary title report for each subject property. 4. An 8 1./2 x 11 site plan, on the attached City form, which shall show the following: a. The lot lines(s) to be adjusted, in its existing position and in the contemplated position. b. Location of existing structures and their dimensions. c. One perspective, from ground level, at a point 100 feet in all directions from the project site. d. Area location map. e. North arrow (pointing up or to the left). f. Scale sufficient to clearly show the adjustment being made. (Use engineer s scale only). g. Assessor s Parcel Number shown on each lot. 5. Revised deed and metes and bounds legal description.* 6. Payment: processing fee. 7. The application shall be submitted to the City Planning Department for their review. 8. The Planning Director shall approve or deny the lot line adjustment. *Note: New deed reflecting the lots resulting from the lot line adjustment and metes and bounds legal descriptions may be prepared by licensed civil engineer, land surveyor, attorney at law or title officer.
