Situation Moneydie Roger Estate is situated in the heart of the Perthshire countryside, yet only 7 miles northwest of Perth. The nearby village of Luncarty (3 miles) has some local shops and a primary school. The city of Perth is within a twenty-minute drive and has a more extensive range of services including supermarkets, theatre, concert hall, restaurants, hospital, leisure centre, primary and secondary schooling and a train station with regular services to Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and also a sleeper service to London. Perthshire has a plentiful supply of independent schools with Glenalmond College only 7 miles away as well as Morrison s Academy, Ardvreck, Strathallan, Dollar Academy and Beaconhurst. The A9 motorway (2 ½ miles away) provides links both north and south with quick access to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Dundee Airport (29 miles) has a daily flight service to London, whilst Edinburgh Airport (48 miles) provides flights to a variety of domestic and international destinations. The surrounding Perthshire countryside offers a variety of recreational activities including hill walking, mountain biking and horse riding. There are a number of equestrian events in the area including at the Gleneagles Equestrian Centre. The ski slopes at Glenshee are only 40 miles to the north.
