REEF associates Ltd is a leading specialist consultancy practice in the field of Façade Access Equipment. As building designs become more complex and the need for effective external maintenance becomes more crucial the need for specific knowledge and understanding of all building facade lifetime maintenance requirements and appropriate access solutions also becomes crucial. It is important to consider access not only for regular cleaning of the facade but also as a means to assist or carry out more significant maintenance and repairs to the facade. REEF is uniquely qualified to provide the required level of expertise to advise and produce cost effective and practical solutions that will compliment the overall design of the building façade. Best results are achieved by early involvement in the overall design process REEF will carry out a comprehensive risk assessment analysis and recommend necessary actions for compliance with all current Health & Safety legislation and EU regulations. Following completion of new installations REEF also offers ongoing long-term technical support for the client and Facility Manager. Examples of the services REEF is able to offer are: New & Refurbishment Projects Initial feasibility analysis in development proposal Develop access strategies and risk analysis Develop facade panel/glazing replacement strategies Production of detailed tender documents Detailed design criteria at pre-construction stage Analysis of tender submissions Monitoring of equipment manufacture Monitoring of on site installation Final compliance checking of hand over and commission Post Completion & Management Management of maintenance programme and monitoring of changing regulations on behalf of the client. Support for Existing Property Portfolios A comprehensive audit facility for clients with an existing property or portfolio with façade access equipment. This facility is crucial for clients to produce a full risk assessment analysis and then to carry out the necessary upgrades or replacement in compliance with all current Health & Safety legislation and Regulations.
