Submarket Overview SkySong Campus (42 Acres) SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center is one of the premier economic engines in the Valley of the Sun. The goal of SkySong is to attract cutting edge and innovation companies and their base of knowledge workers from around the world, integrating the resources of ASU with the opportunities of the private sector. The Restaurants at SkySong will be the signature food and beverage amenity to the campus. Planned for 1,200,000 SF of office space and one hotel. Currently 600,000 SF of office space (+90% occupancy in three buildings, 65% in the fourth building (newest one); and 5th office building in planning stage. New hotel announced, Element by Westin (Marriott), will have 150 rooms with opening expected in Spring 2019. Approximately 1,800 employees currently on campus with full build out expected to reach 5,000 employees. South Scottsdale Neighborhood (Osborn Road to McKellips Road; 64th Street to Pima Road) A year long comprehensive identity building exercise funded by Industrial Development Authority and private sponsorships; Re-Imagining Southern Scottsdale was created to affect positive momentum for the revitalization of Southern Scottsdale. They surveyed over 1,900 residents so far and some of the findings are below. Approximately 25,000 households exist in South Scottsdale with a population of 40,000 residents. 68.4% of residents are educated (bachelor's degree or higher). $65,000 is the median household income. 48.2% of residents are between 25 and 44 years old. 42.1% of residents have lived in South Scottsdale for less than 5 years; only 26.2% have lived more than 20 years. 8
