TENANCY APPLICATION Please read and sign before submitting your application Thank you for your enquiry on one of our available rental properties. We value your interest, and will endeavour to make the process as smooth and hassle free as possible. You will probably already realise that not all of our properties will be suitable for you and likewise we do not accept every application we receive. In order to assist you with your search for a property and ultimately your application for tenancy, the following information might be useful: We strongly recommend once you have received our vacancy list you do a drive-by. For your convenience, updated lists are available for viewing on our website www.raywhitesherwood.com.au. This will help eliminate any properties that do not appeal to you and may save you time and energy. A time to inspect the property can be made by registering online and booking in a time convenient to you and our leasing team. When you have chosen a property that you are interested in, it is our Company Policy that each person who wishes to reside in the property complete a Tenancy Application individually. (Excluding dependent children under the age of 16). Applications that are incomplete &/or unsigned will not be accepted" When submitting your application you must ensure that each application has attached the following: Appropriate identification (100+ points) You will be required to provide at least one form of Photo ID such as Drivers Licence, 18+card, or Passport. Proof of Signature Such as bank card and Drivers Licence (both sides). Proof of Current Address Such as rates notice, utility bill, car registration or insurance bill. Evidence of income You will be required to provide proof of current income. This can be in the form of 2x pay slips, Accountant s letter (if self-employed), or letter from employer.

Policies of Ray White Sherwood Rentals Tenancy Check Upon authorisation, your application will be checked against a national tenancy database (TICA) for information. If you have ever had a problem with a previous tenancy, it is imperative that you advise us so that we can discuss it with you. We will also ask for your consent to confirm your information details with your employer, and discuss any previous tenancy with a former agent/lessor. Application not accepted In the event that your application is rejected, our office is not legally obliged to give reason. Our office will retain your application form for only one month after lodgement. At his point unless otherwise directed, it will be shredded as per the Privacy Act. Condition Reports & Inspection Our company conducts photo Condition Reports & Routine Inspection Reports, taking photographic images of the outside and internal areas of the property during the term of the Tenancy Agreement Rental payment method Rent must be paid IN ADVANCE at all times. Our office does not accept cash. In office payments must be either money order, cheque, electronic transfer via banks, or using our eftpos facility. Please note there is a 2% surcharge for credit cards. Our preferred method of payment is electronically through any financial institution and direct into our account using a specific reference number (please ask Property Management for this). Due to the banks processing procedure, it takes up to 3 business days to show in to our account. You must ensure rent is paid before it is due including any possible banking delays. If you believe that your privacy has been breached, please contact us using the contact details on our website and provide details of the incident so that we can investigate it. Our procedure for investigating and dealing with privacy breaches is set out in our current complaints handling procedures. We collect personal information in this form to assess your application for a residential tenancy. You also consent to us using your information for the purposes of direct marketing, business research and customer satisfaction enquiries. We may need to collect information about you from your previous landlords or letting agents, your current or previous employer and your referees. Your consent to us collecting this information is set out below. We may disclose personal information about you to the owner of the property to which this application relates. If this application is successful we may disclose your details to service providers relevant to the tenancy relationship including maintenance contractors and the owner s insurers. We may also send personal information about you to the owners of any other properties at your request. You have the right to access personal information that we hold about you by contacting our privacy officer or the contact details on our website. If you do not complete this form or do not sign the consent below then your application for a residential tenancy may not be considered by the owner of the relevant property or, if considered, may be rejected. CONSENT I, the Applicant, acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Statement above and the privacy policy of the Ray White Office. I authorise the Ray White Office and the Agent to collect information about me from: 1. My previous letting agents, landlords, current and previous employers; 2. My personal referees; 3. Any Tenancy Default Database which may contain personal information about me. I authorise the Ray White Office and the Agent to disclose: details about any defaults by me under the tenancy to which this application relates, to any tenancy default database to which the Ray White Office or the Agent subscribes, including Tenancy Information Centre of Australia (TICA), National Tenancy Database (NTD) and/or Trading Reference Australia (TRA) personal information collected about me to the owner of the property even if the owner is resident outside Australia personal information collected about me to any third parties valuers, contractors, sales people, insurance companies, bodies corporate, other agents and tenancy default databases to which it is reasonably necessary to disclose in relation to the tenancy arrangement. As your information may be emailed or stored in the cloud, we cannot ensure that overseas recipients to whom your information is disclosed will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to your information. Acknowledging that this is so, you consent to your information being emailed and stored in the cloud. Where Ray White Connect is requested by me to arrange for the provision of connection and disconnection services, I consent to Ray White Connect disclosing personal information about me to utility service providers for that purpose and to obtain confirmation of the connection or disconnection. I consent to Ray White Connect disclosing confirmation details (including NMI, MIRN and telephone number) to the Ray White Office and the Agent. I acknowledge that Ray White Connect, the Ray White Office and the Agent do not accept any responsibility for any delay in, or failure to arrange or provide for, any connection or disconnection of a utility, or for any loss in connection with such delay or failure.
