Correspondent Assignment Center Release Notes January 29, 2018 Correspondent Assignment Center Release 3.1 on January 29, 2018, includes the following enhancements to improve your experience. Expanded Unassignment and Reassignment Capabilities: Aggregator has the capability to unassign loan(s) and/or reassign loan(s) to another aggregator. Reassignment: When an assignment is selected, a new option slides on the screen with a Reassign Loan icon. The reassign option allows the aggregator to reassign the original assignment to another aggregator. When the reassignment occurs, a new Assignment Id is created. The active parties in the reassignment become the new Organization Assigned To and Assigned By parties. The original assignor can no longer access or view the assignment. The new Assigned To and Assigned By parties both have the ability to view the assignment and reassign it to another aggregator. Unassignment: When an assignment is selected, a new option slides on the screen with an Unassign Loan icon.
Both the Organization Assigned To and Assigned By parties can unassign the loan assigned to them or assigned by them. When unassigned, if a previous assignment exists, it will become the active assignment. NOTE: When the assignment is passed between multiple aggregators, the evaluation results that were submitted by the original assignor are shown in the assignment search results page. Scenario 1: An existing correspondent has the ability to assign the loan to Aggregator 1, and only this original correspondent and Aggregator 1 can view the assignment. When the correspondent or Aggregator 1 selects the assignment, both can see the Unassign Loan and Reassign Loan icons. If Aggregator 1 or the correspondent selects the Reassign Loan icon, a Change Aggregator window opens with a list of aggregators. Click on a selected Aggregator 2 to whom the loan is to be reassigned and click Update. A Confirmation window opens, asking for confirmation of the reassignment. Click Yes.
A new Assignment ID is created and Aggregator 1 and Aggregator 2 can view the assignment. These aggregators have the option to unassign or reassign the selected loan. The original correspondent can no longer access or view the assignment. If Aggregator 2 reassigns the loan to Aggregator 3 (following the same steps mentioned above), a new Assignment ID is created for the same loan. Now, only Aggregator 2 and Aggregator 3 can view the assignment and have the option to unassign or reassign the selected loan. Aggregator 1 can no longer access or view the assignment. Scenario 2: If Aggregator 2 selects the option to unassign the loan, a Confirmation window is opened to confirm the unassignment from Aggregator 3.
Click Yes to confirm the unassignment. When Aggregator 3 logs in, they can no longer view the assignment. Aggregator 2 and Aggregator 1 can view the assignment with the new Assignment ID. If Aggregator 2 reassigns the loan to Aggregator 4, a new Assignment ID is created for that assignment, and Aggregator 2 and Aggregator 4 can view the assignment.
Scenario 3: If Aggregator 4 unassigns the loan from Aggregator 2, the previous Organization Assigned To and Assigned By parties for that assignment can view the assignment with the new Assignment ID. Aggregator 2 and Aggregator 1 can view the assignment with the new Assignment ID. Notifications: When a new assignment is created by the correspondent, a New Assignment notification is sent to Aggregator. If Aggregator 1 reassigns the Loan to Aggregator 2, a New Assignment notification is sent to Aggregator 2 and an Unassignment notification is sent to Aggregator 1. If Aggregator 2 reassigns the loan to Aggregator 3, a New Assignment notification is sent to Aggregator 3 and an Unassignment notification is sent to Aggregator 2. If Aggregator 2 unassigns the loan from Aggregator 3 and reassigns to Aggregator 4, an Unassignment notification is sent to Aggregator 3 and a New Assignment notification is sent to Aggregator 4. If Aggregator 4 unassigns the loan themselves, an Unassignment notification is sent to Aggregator 4 and a New Assignment notification is sent to Aggregator 2.
