Building Permit application: Complete as much of the form as possible and remember to sign it. 2. Zoning Certificate application: Complete and sign. In particular, you MUST include a site plan showing the location of the proposed home in relation to all lot lines, the distance from the well and the distances from the septic field and septic tank. Your permit cannot be processed without this required site plan. 3. Energy Calculations form: Most people will have their HVAC contractor complete this form. 4. Wall Section form: This form is provided for your convenience. If you ve had professional construction plans drawn they will most likely include this required information. 5. Septic permit: No form included in this packet. Your septic designer will submit the septic design to GGG in Chatfield. GGG will issue the septic permit and email it to our office. Your building permit cannot be issued until we ve received your septic permit. If you re planning to use an existing septic system i.e. from an older home being removed from the same site you will need a septic compliance check that has been completed within the last three years. That compliance check must indicate the existing septic system is properly sized for the proposed new home.
6. Well permit: Again no form is included here. Your well driller will apply for a well permit. You will need to get his number to our office before your building permit can be issued. If you re planning on using an existing well, we will need a passing water test completed within the last six months. 7. Driveway permit: If you re building a new home in Rochester or Cascade Township you can use the driveway permit application included in this packet. If you are building in any of the other townships administered by TCPA you ll need to contact a Town Board member for an access permit.
