Agriculture Re-Use Sites Proposed pursuant to Draft Ag. Re-Use Ordinance that will be considered by the Planning Commission in May and Board in June Not in Williamson Act 29 sites that have been identified by staff has suitable for adaptive re-use Will be designated Agriculture Services by the Butte County General Plan Agriculture Services designation will reflect uses under new Ordinance uses that are intended to service agricultural areas and promote commerce serving agriculture County Use Permit required for all uses

Deer Herd New New Deer Herd Study: Technical Study and GIS Model for Land Use within the Migratory Deer Herd Range Goal: Goal: Update maps using current standards and ensure consistency with zoning and General Plan Implement 20-acre and 40-acre (minimum parcel size) critical winter range as zoning overlay; ensure consistency with each zone

Deer Herd Development Zones Developed under the 1984 Deer Herd Maps to show areas already developed Staff re-reviewed reviewed and applied the DDZs to existing developed communities Approach recognizes that impact has already taken place and that these communities need to receive appropriate Non-deer range General Plan designations. DDZs which were not part of a community were eliminated.

Draft General Plan 2030 Incorporates all Goals and Policies Organizes information into Elements in accordance with the Outline approved by the Board. Incorporates the Countywide General Plan Land Use Map and sets allowed uses and intensities for all designations Includes an Action Plan that sets forth key actions to be completed in first five years Meeting Series to begin with public workshop in September 2009.
Housing Element Meeting Series #6 Mandated by State to be updated every 5-5 years Draft Draft Housing Element currently under 60- day review at CA. Dept. of Housing and Community Development This This is an interim Housing Element; the Housing Element will be updated again to be consistent with GP 2030 in 2010.
