THE MAIN LODGE Dating from 1905, the main lodge was originally built as a summer retreat for managers of Canada s largest lumber camp in nearby Britt. Situated overlooking the harbour the 11/2 storey, 5 bedroom, 2500 sq.ft. lodge has been meticulously restored preserving all the warmth and charm of a bygone era while enjoying the comfort of every up to date convenience. A network of footpaths and rustic wooden bridges link the structures and the trails which traverse the island, leading to endless spectacular views. At the south western tip of the island under a 3 masted flag pole, a large stone barbeque and picnic tables overlook superb views in all directions, a particularly spectacular spot at sunset.

Local guides are available for fishing outings for various game fish - bass, pickerel, salmon, and muskellunge and for the classic Georgian Bay shore lunches.
