Frequently Asked Questions 07 When will the first residents be able to move in to Terrace Place at Vincentian? Construction is expected to be complete in early 2019. We expect that residents will be able to move in starting around February 2019. Construction updates, and a live webcam, are available on our Facebook page and online at TerracePlace.org. How many apartments are at Terrace Place? Terrace Place will have 91 apartment homes spanning three floors. The first floor will have garden level apartments with a patio; the second and third floors will have balconies with metal railings. Are there different floorplans available? All apartments will have the same floorplan as shown in this guide. The only difference is a patio for first-floor apartments and a balcony for second and third-floor apartments. Can I choose my apartment location? Absolutely! Apartments will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we encourage you to get your reservation in soon. What is included with my rent? Your rent includes all utilities, free WiFi internet, refuse collection and all maintenance to the grounds and your apartment home. The resident is responsible for their television and landline phone package. No additional or hidden fees associated with meal plans, campus conveniences or other service fees will ever be charged at Terrace Place. Once I move in, how long will my rent stay the same? The rent you begin paying will stay the same through at least June 2020. Historically we have increased rent at Vincentian Villa (our other independent living community) by less than 3% per year. I have heard that Terrace Place will be adaptive. What does that mean? Each apartment will be equipped with smart technology that will help you control things like your lights and temperature from a remote control or smart device. Bathrooms are designed with extra help available, like grab bars, should you need it. Vincentian is currently exploring partnerships with home health and other healthcare agencies to bring services you need directly to you. Do you allow pets? Yes. Pets of up to 40 pounds are welcome at Terrace Place, as long as your pet is not a nuisance to your neighbors. There is a one-time pet fee of $250 that will be payable with your first bill. How many elevators will be on site? There will be two elevators located on either side of the common area. Is there free transportation provided? Yes. Scheduled transportation within a five mile radius of Terrace Place at Vincentian is available. Regularly scheduled outings and trips to the grocery store are also scheduled.

Frequently Asked Questions Will I be able to pick my own colors for my apartment? On a first-come, first-serve basis, kitchen cabinet color options will be available. Once you move in, you are free to customize painting, furniture, etc. to your liking; however, the apartment will need to be returned to its original condition and format after you move out. Any customizations are the responsibility of the resident. Depending on the work required, costs associated with this may be billed to you. What kind of flooring and appliances will the apartments have? The master bedroom will be carpeted. All other areas will have hardwood Luxury Vinyl Tiles. The appliances include a range, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator and will all be stainless steel. Each unit will include a stackable washer and dryer in the large master closet. Will the apartment windows have blinds? All apartments will feature slatted blinds that can be fully raised, lowered and tilted to each resident s convenience. Will there be covered parking? All of the parking at Terrace Place will be surface parking. There will be parking areas for residents and guest/visitor parking. There are ample parking spaces for all and there will be no assigned parking. The parking lot is designed to be able to accommodate covered carports should there be excessive demand for that from our residents; however this is not part of the initial grand opening plan. Will there be valet parking? Valet parking may be available during inclement weather; however there will not typically be valet service available. Will Terrace Place be a secure building? Yes, guests will have to be buzzed in, and there will be a video security system in public areas of the campus. The details of the security system are currently being finalized. Will there be resident storage areas? In addition to storage in closets and pantries inside apartments, each unit will have an on-property storage area separate from your apartment. What about religious services? Free transportation is available to daily mass at Vincentian Home. We will also accommodate transportation to area places of worship based on availability and interest. What kind of community space will be offered at Terrace Place? The common area will have a large lounge, self-service bar and grab-and-go café, along with ample room for groups large and small. A multipurpose room will host classes such as yoga, painting, dance and presentations like movies and musical performances. The outdoor courtyard will also be used to host events. 08
