The party leasing the facility may be responsible for the following: 1) Payment of all utilities. 2) All building operating costs. 3) All required interior renovation, design, and maintenance. 4) Construction of access drive and parking area. 5) All applicable property taxes. 6) Security of the Building 7) All maintenance of exterior of the building and surrounding grounds within 400 of the Belden Lodge. 8) Payment of a negotiated lease fee to the City.
Conditions of Use 1. The Belden Lodge is part of a 205 acre nature preserve. This City is willing to consider any reasonable use of the facility for public / private use that does not significantly conflict with the intended use of the park. 2. No portion of the lease agreement may be assigned to another entity without the express written consent of the City. This does not include contracting services for the agreed upon use of the facility. I.e. caterers, decorators, etc 3. Operating hours of the facility should be in compliance with all local and state laws related to the particular use for the facility, if applicable, and /or operating hours to be negotiated with the City. Belden Lodge Inspection An opportunity to inspect the Lodge, prior to the proposal deadline, is available to all interested parties. Those wishing to view the lodge can call the parks and recreation office and schedule an appointment. The interested party must state their name, the company they represent (if applicable), and their interest of use of the building.
