County and State A detailed description of the physical characteristics of the stone is given in the Boundary Markers of the Original District of Columbia Multiple Documentation Form. Intermediate boundary marker Northeast #1 is located in Fort Lincoln Cemetery. The stone is cracked; the missing section was repaired with concrete. The sandstone marker is in fair condition. A 3' x 3' x 4' iron fence, also in fair condition, surrounds the marker.

County and State An expanded statement of significance is given in the Boundary Markers of the Original District of Columbia Multiple Documentation Form. Northeast boundary stone #7 was the thirteenth marker to be located in Maryland. It was laid in 1792. Its fence was dedicated c. 1916. Originally, care for the marker was the responsibility of the National Training School. Subsequently, it was the responsibility of the Katherine Montgomery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

County and State Verbal Boundary Description: The stone is located in Fort Lincoln Cemetery approximately 265 feet southwest from the cemetery lane curb of block #18 and 95 feet southeast of the mausoleum. The fence surrounds the stone. Boundary Justification: The boundary stone and fence have historically been situated at this location and maintain historic integrity.
