Situation The house is situated in a semi rural location approximately three miles from the centre of the historic town of Westerham with its pretty period properties, range of local shops, boutiques and antique centres. Popular with tourists due to its associations with Winston Churchill and General Wolfe, the town is a highly sought after and has a good selection of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The immediate countryside is lovely, providing for marvellous walks and riding. A variety of sporting activities can be had with many tennis, rugby and soccer associations along with various golf clubs such as Westerham, Cherry Lodge and Park Wood. The nearby towns of Oxted (5.8 miles), Sevenoaks (8.4 miles) and Bromley (9 miles) have more comprehensive shopping facilities and are very popular due to the fast train services to various London stations.
