age 1 of 2 (H) - WF: Waterfront District The Waterfront (WF) District is established and intended to accommodate principally working waterfront development providing access to or support of Biloxi's traditional commercial seafood and recreational fishing/water sports industries including uses associated with the launching, berthing, hauling, fueling, storage, repair, or construction of boats, and the unloading, processing, icing, or shipping of seafood. the WF District is also intended to accommodate uses and visitor amenities that support or complement the city's seafood and recreational fishing/water sports industries (e.g., seafood markets and restaurants, aquariums, museums, shops, and entertainment uses). Hotel, gaming, and residential uses also may be appropriate in WF Districts to the extent they complement and are compatible with working waterfront development. WF Zoning is appropriate along those portions of East Biloxi's waterfront where seafood and recreational fishing/water sports uses exist or are planned. district standards encourage views of the water and pedestrian accessibility to the waterfront, among district uses, and to the downtown and other nearby centers of activity. they also call for compliance with the city's Flood Damage revention Ordinance.
