Bainbridge High School Alumni Banquet 2018 June 30, 2018 @ Bainbridge, IN Community Bldg. After the welcome by BHS Alumni president Roger Riggen (seated in back) Rick Parent from the class of 1965 recited a tribute to the U.S. flag he wrote somewhat based on the old Johnny Cash song Ragged Old Flag. This was just prior to the honoring of all military veterans attending who then led everyone in the Pledge to the Flag.

All U.S. military veterans attending the Banquet are shown standing for recognition prior to leading everyone in the Pledge to the Flag. Thursa Etcheson Evens from the class of 1945 (in center with mic) delivered the invocation prior to the meal catered by Cochran s Catering from Jamestown, IN. Thursa also spoke later in the program about the Bainbridge Improvement Society (BIS) and its need for additional funds for the operation of the Bainbridge Community Building where the Banquet is held.

Doyne Cruse spoke for the honored 50 year class of 1968 at the BHS Alumni Banquet.

Mildred Tippin Rusk gave the response for the honored 60 year class of 1958.

The Class of 1943 (75 years since graduation) was represented by Kenneth Etcheson (on left) who was also recognized as the oldest alumni in attendance at the 2018 Bainbridge High School Alumni Banquet. On the right is Marion Lukenbill from the 1948 honored 70 year class.

Chevelle Tallman (on left) received the 2018 Bainbridge High School Alumni Scholarship from scholarship chair Janet Houser O Hair at the banquet. Chevelle is the daughter of Anthony and Christina Tallman and a recent graduate of North Putnam High School.

Chevelle Tallman thanks BHS Alumni Assn. for her scholarship and discusses her career plans through attending Purdue University.

The Class of 68 Beatles provided the entertainment much to the delight of the BHS Alumni. Shown (L-R) are Gary Judy, Jim Hanks, Steve Albin and Russ Evans. Sharon Leak Nichols from the class of 1969 (on the far right) was the winner of the 50-50 raffle sponsored by the Scholarship Committee. On the left is Janet Houser O Hair, Scholarship Committee chair.

The awards to the family with the most siblings who attended BHS present for the banquet went to the Tippin family. Seated (L-R) Marilyn Tippin Phillips, Howard Tippin and Margaret Tippin Kessinger. In back (L-R) are Mildred Tippin Rusk and Joanne Tippin Walker.

Four Games family siblings attending this year s banquet included: (L-R) are Leroy Games (BHS 1961), Linda Games Stark (BHS 1957), Charles Games (BHS 1955) and Marilene Games Frederick (BHS 1955.)

The class of 1965 had the most classmates attending the banquet other than the honored class of 1968. The 15 present along with 3 former faculty members included: (seated L-R) Sheila Porter Chadd, Linda York Smith, Linda Hanks, Marilyn O Hair Winters and Judy Thompson Parent. In second row are (L-R) Dennis Folck, Nancy Hutcheson Curran, Martha Cox and Bonnie Scobee Roberts. In third row are (L-R) Rick Parent, Mary Ruth Baker Dagenhart, Joanne Tippin Walker, Billie June Boller Hendricks and faculty member Harold Doremire. In back are Ronnie Spencer, Joe Martin and faculty members Pat Rady and Bill Henson.

The BHS class of 1964 had 11 members at the Banquet this year.
