Requested Action Public Works respectfully requests that the Whatcom County Council hold a public hearing and take action on the proposed resolution to approve the quit claim deed. Background and Purpose Whatcom County is purported to be the owner of property within the city of limits of the City of Bellingham. Whatcom County has no record of how it obtained this property and is of the belief that it possesses no ownership interest of value in the property as it is within the City of Bellingham and is currently being used as city right of way as part of Toledo Street.
