It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I think this is one of the greatest organizations in the world and has within it is some of the most talented people put on this earth. Your willingness to share your talent and time reflects why this organization is so successful. The SCAAO 2012 Spring Conference is before us and the Conference and Educational Committees are working hard to ensure that this year s conference is one of the best ever. Informative Educational Classes, Workshops and Seminars as well as the Frogmore stew, Banquet and Dance will prove to be an unbeatable combination that will excite your mind as well as your spirits. I know that our job as Assessors is a thankless one and many times we may feel unappreciated. But we should always remember that the greatest in the kingdom is a servant. So please be encouraged, knowing that the work that you are doing is a great work and every once in while you are reminded of that when someone comes by or calls to say thank you for something you or your staff has done. This year s conference will reflect on the past, acknowledge the present and prepare us for the future. I look forward to seeing you all in Myrtle Beach.
