Gables Arsenal Street offers the following amenities for you to enjoy: Clubroom open from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM Daily. Conference Room open from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM Daily. Theater Room open from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM AM Daily Pool open from 10:00AM until 10:00PM Daily, Memorial Day until Labor Day Lounge open from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM Daily. Front and Back courtyards open from 8AM-10PM Daily. Where do I dispose of my trash? Arsenal Street has trash rooms located on every floor. Floors 2-4; the trash rooms are across form the service elevator, conveniently located on your way out to the garage. The first floor is located just past the elevators through the garage doors, on the right. There are trash and zero-sort recycling shoots in each one. Please dispose of your household garbage via the chute. Where are the recycling centers? We pride ourselves on green initiatives to care for the environment. Arsenal Street has recycling areas located on each floor for disposal of newspapers, plastics and glass as noted above. Thank you for helping us take care of the earth. What do I do with my move in boxes? It is helpful to everyone in the community if everyone breaks down all boxes and disposes of them in the dumpsters located on the first floor of the garage near the elevator. We do ask that you do not use the trash chutes for boxes, as they can block the chute and create undesirable overflow. Please also do not leave your boxes in the trash rooms. How does my key fob work? When entering the building through the front or parking garage door, swipe the fob to enter or exit.
Where are the mail boxes located? The mail boxes for your apartment home are located on the first floor past the service elevator/garage entrance in the mail room. Do you have resident activities or events? Keep up to date on all of our community gatherings through our email blasts and Facebook posts. Where is the best place for me to park? Residents with parking stickers should pull through the security gate at the entrance to the garage and then may park anywhere inside. Guests should park on the first floor of the garage in the designated Guest Parking spots. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty. Conveniences How do I pay rent online? We have made paying your rent easy by setting you up with your personal on line account to the Gables Gateway. You will go to gables.com and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Gables Gateway include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home. How do I use Gables Connect? Changing your utilities to your new address can be time consuming and a challenge, so visit www.gablesconnect.com or call 1-866-914-0631 to transfer or set up your utilities with ease. At Gables Arsenal Street, you can establish your new utility service for electric, phone, cable and secure renter s insurance. How do I reserve the freight elevator? You can contact the office at 617-744-8381 and our team will walk you through the reservation process. The freight elevator is available Monday Friday from 9:00 am 6:00 pm, Saturday from 10am-5pm, or Sunday from 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm for moving. There is limited elevator time allocated for moving and a reservation is necessary to ensure that each resident has ample time to move.
How do I get a hold of the concierge? What can he/she help me with? There is no concierge at Gables Arsenal Street. We encourage you to reach out to the Leasing Office with any questions or concerns. In the case of emergencies, please contact the police or fire department. Where can I access WI-FI in the building? The Lounge, leasing office, club lounge, dining room and theater are WI-FI accessible for your use and convenience. This amenity is complimentary and part of your community benefits. The network is named Arsenal Street and there is no password required. Where is the rent drop box? When you need to pay your rent after office hours, you may drop it in the rent box located across the hall from the Theater entrance, below the painting. Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them? Gables Arsenal Street does not have a courtesy officer. Should you ever witness any suspicious or criminal activity, you should always call 911 for local law enforcement support. Guests Where can my guests park? Guest Parking is available on the first floor of the garage near the elevator and are designated specifically as Guest Parking. Where do my movers park? In the interest of safety for proper clearance for other residents and emergency vehicles, your movers may park at the end of the loading area next to the service elevator. Overnight parking for moving trucks is not permitted. Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them? All deliveries should come through the front door. You may either come down to meet them, or can buzz them in using the call box. How many guests can I have with me at the amenities? We love it when you share your community with your friends and family. Two guests are welcome to join you in all of the amenity areas.
How do I let friends in the front entrance? Your guests will contact you via the call box in the entryway. You will receive a call on the phone line that you provide upon move-in when your guest dials you from the phone pad. If the caller is someone you wish to permit entry, press 9 on your phone s keypad and the doors will open. Maintenance How do I submit service requests? We want placing a service request for work needed in your apartment home easy. You may contact the management office via phone at (617)744-8381, via email at arsenalstreet@gables.com, in person, or through the Gables Gateway to place your service request. What do I do if I have a Maintenance emergency after hours? For those times that you may have an emergency after office hours, you may contact the office at (617) 744-8381. The answering service will direct you to page maintenance by pressing 2 and leaving a descriptive message. The answering service will then dispatch your service emergency to the on-call service technician. You should receive a call from the technician within the hour. What is considered a maintenance emergency? Emergency maintenance problems that will be dispatched to the on-call service technician include: 1. No electricity throughout the apartment 2. No water. 3. No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees). 4. Water entering the apartment. 5. Possibility of fire. 6. Impeded plumbing in an apartment with only one bathroom. 7. No heat. 8. Non-functioning or malfunctioning smoke detector. 9. Gas leak (also call the gas company). 10. Running water that cannot be shut off. 11. Malfunctioning door or window locks.
Furry Friends Do you have a dog park? Gables Arsenal Street does not have a dog park. Where is the best place to walk my pet? The green areas around the property are appropriate to walk your pets. Please help us to maintain a clean and pleasant community by always picking up after your pets. There are many doggie stations surrounding the community. There are also a number of places to enter the surrounding neighborhood, the Charles River Rd trails at the end of Arsenal Street (.5 miles away) and a small dog park at the corner of Pleasant St and Bacon St in Watertown. Do you have a Yappy Hour? You are not the only resident that likes to mingle Your pet has the opportunity to socialize during our Yappy Hours, held periodically during the year in the clubroom. Treat your dog to a night out! Do I have to have my dog on a leash? For the safety of your dog and all residents in the community, all pets are required to be on a leash when in any common area.
