CADASTRAL WORKS in TURKEY Throughout Turkey, cadastre services are carried out by 81 Cadastre Directorates under 22 Regional Directorates.

Since the Cadastre Works are at the completion stage, the existing staff has started to work in the 22/a Implementation (Renovation).

CADASTRAL WORKS in TURKEY History and Legal Ground of the Cadastre Works in Our Country Cadastre activities first started with the Provisional Law on the Register and Restriction of Real Property on 5 February 1912. After some changes, and revisions on this Provisional Law, a Cadastre Law no. 3402 was passed on 10 October 1987. Since then, all cadastral activities have been carried out within the scope of this law. Beginning from 2005, cadastral services have been made by private sector under aiming at completion of cadastral maps nationwide.

COMPLETION OF FIRST CADASTRE In our country, the cadastre works are at the completion stage, and the cadastre directorates have initiated works on; 3402/22-a Implementation (renovation), Digitizing the cadastre sheets that are not graphical (numeric), Thus the existing staff has been assigned for those works.

Land Registry and Cadastre Modernization Project LRCMP (TKMP) 3402/22-a Implementation (Renovation) Works As a result of the inventory works obtained from 22 Regional Directorates, it has been found out that a total of (8.010.583) parcels need renovation in Turkey. It is planned to complete the renovation of a total of (4.100.000) parcels with World Bank loan within the scope of the Land Registry and Cadastre Modernization Project (TKMP). The objective is to complete the project in 2013.
