Heathfield House 44 All Saints Road Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL52 2HA
Seller Insight It was the amount of space and the size of the high-ceilinged rooms which first appealed to us about this property, say the current owners of 44 All Saints Road. We also admired the potential to put our own stamp on the house, bringing it from the rather dilapidated state in which we initially saw it, to the fantastic 4 storey family home it is today. The house is perfect for everyday life and entertaining alike, with its sociable kitchen, spacious master bedroom and cosy lounge. We have had a lot of parties and dinners with family and friends in this house, say the owners. People say that they love the atmosphere of the place, with its feeling of being a welcoming family home. The garden too is beautifully kept and pleasantly dimensioned. The patio area is ideal for summer barbecues, say the owners, or simply for sitting outside enjoying a drink on a warm evening. Mostly laid to lawn, the garden also has planted borders, and being the end property of a row of three is wonderfully private. The location of the property also has much to offer, being within walking distance of the local shops and amenities. The house is set in a quiet residential cul de sac, and is one of a set of Victorian style properties, say the owners. In the popular Fairview area close to Pittville Park, we are situated less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cheltenham, while 30 minutes in the other direction takes you to the heart of rural beauty. The master bedroom is wonderfully spacious with high ceilings, so is a lovely place to wake up each morning. The garden is generously proportioned for that of a Town House, yet remains easy to maintain with its simple landscaping of lawned and patio areas. We shall miss the sheer amount of space we have here, the rooms being bigger than in most modern properties. Having brought our family up at 44 All Saints Road, we have many treasured memories of the 35 years we have spent here. * * These comments are the personal views of the current owner and are included as an insight into life at the property.
