Conference at a Glance Preserving Wright s Legacy in Wisconsin, the Conservancy s first Madison conference in 14 years, will explore the multidimensional nature of Wright s close, lifelong relationship to his home state, and efforts to safeguard his work there. General Conference Tours Thursday Saturday, Oct. 11 13 Afternoon tours are packed with Wrightdesigned buildings! Friday will be devoted to Taliesin including the Hillside School and Studio, Tan-y-deri and the nearby Wyoming Valley School (1956) with a focus on preservation. Thursday and Saturday will focus on the Madison area, including World Heritage Site nominee Jacobs House I (1936), the hemicycle Jacobs House II (1944), the rarely toured Rudin House (1957), the recently discovered American System-Built House Series AA (1917), the cliffhugging lakeside Pew House (1938), and the National Historic Landmark Unitarian Meeting House (1947).
