The Architectural Society of China (ASC) was founded in 1953. ASC joined UIA as a national member in 1955 and joined ARCASIA as a national member in 1989. The main objective of ASC is: to carry out architectural research and professional practice exchange; to organize international scientific and technological cooperation and exchange; to edit and publish books and periodicals; to popularize architectural knowledge and advanced technology; to develop continued education and technical training; to recommend and award achievements and personnel.

UIA 25th World Congress of Architects and 26th General Time: Aug 2 to 12th 2014 Place: Durban, South Africa Over 200 Chinese architects participated in the congress and Chinese pavilion is the largest among the exhibiting countries.

On June 15-22, 2015, ASC delegation participated in London Festival of Architecture, RIBA international summit, re-signed the Memorandum of Understanding between RIBA and ASC and visited UIA Headquarters.
On Sep 11, 2014, Canberra Accord third General Conference Call was held. On Oct 21 to 25 2014, ASC Vice President Zhu Wenyi attended ARCASIA Zone C meeting in Korea. On 3 to 5 May 2015, Canberra Accord 5th General Meeting was held in Boston, USA.
China APEC Architect certificate-awarding ceremony and academic symposium in Beijing on Sep 12, 2014 Altogether 95 architects received APEC Architect Certificate.

10th International Symposium on Architectural Interchanges in Asia Time: October 14-17th 2014 Place: Hangzhou, China Organized by: ASC, AIK and AIJ Theme: Cultural Elements in Architectural Advancement The symposium reported more than 200 papers and 300 representatives from the three countries and other countries attended the meeting.

China Institute of Architectural Education and Accreditation under ASC 2015 Annual Convention and the Fourth Session of the First General Council Meeting was held in Tianjin from Mar 21 to 22, 2015. In the convention, it was held 227 excellent international exchange works by Chinese students from 37 accredited architectural schools. On May 30, 5015, 2015 National Board of Architectural Accreditation General Meeting was held in Beijing. On Jun 25, 2015, ASC Architect Speech in West of China and 2015 Guangxi Planning and Architectural Society Annual Convention was held in Nanning, Guangxi.
