St. Andrew s Park Hurricane House Apartments Hurricane House Hurricane House is a modern, four storey apartment building with an attractive mellow brick and rendered finish, with a steel clad top floor. There are a total of nineteen apartments available in a range of one and two bedroom designs. The unusual shape of the building gives it a striking appearance from the outside and makes for interesting internal layouts. The main entrance to Hurricane House is through a glazed hall with an intercom door entry system and CCTV. There is a galleried staircase and a lift serving all floors. On the ground floor are two 1 bedroom apartments and three two bedroom apartments; on the first and second floors are three 1 bedroom apartments and three two bedroom apartments; on the top floor there are two 1 bedroom penthouses with glazed external walls to the living area and large wrap around roof terraces and a separate balcony to the bedroom. Entered via a secure private door leading to an entrance hall, each apartment provides carefully planned accommodation designed to make the maximum use of space. The living area and principal bedroom are pre-wired for Sky+ HD or Virgin Media, Terrestrial Digital TV, FM and DAB Radio. All the windows and patio doors are aluminium clad upvc high performance sealed double glazed units with chrome ironmongery. There are vertical grooved white gloss internal doors with satin stainless steel finish lever door furniture. All of the apartments benefit from an open plan living/dining/kitchen which opens through sliding glass doors onto a private terrace or balcony. The kitchens all come with a built-in stainless steel fan oven, a ceramic hob, an extractor hood and a range of units with soft close doors and drawers. There is also both an integrated fridge/freezer and a washer dryer (the latter being in a laundry cupboard in some of the apartments). There is a well equipped bathroom fitted with white sanitary ware and a shower over the bath with Hansgrohe bath and shower mixer and frameless hinged shower screen. The two bedroom apartments have an en-suite to the principal bedroom, with some having a full bath with shower over. There are built in wardrobes to all the principal bedrooms and each apartment also benefits from a useful store room. Each apartment has its own allocated parking spaces and there is a cycle store. There is also a communal refuse store with dedicated recycling bins, whilst each apartment also has its own Eco bin in the kitchen. Other environmentally friendly details include roof mounted solar panels to help reduce energy costs and a Tidi-Dri clothes drying line in the bathroom to reduce the use of the tumble dryer.
